Lenders Freeze Foreclosures

In an attempt to assist homeowners drowning in debt, major lenders have agreed to freeze foreclosure proceedings for a thirty day period. The purpose is to allow homeowners time to explore other options beyond impending foreclosure. The move is not only to aid homeowners but also banks who are repossessing homes worth far less than the remaining mortgage.
