Lessons from life for your life
posted January 1, 2009 - 12:14pmThis is about the book titled "tuesday with Morrie" written by Mitch Albom published by Sphere. What he says in this bestseller that our lives can be meaningful, if we do community service, make peace with life, think that a glass is half full rather than half empty. The positive approach that Morrie had taken allowed him to live the way he wanted to live.
Morrie was found to be suffering from a rare neurological disorder. Because of that he lost control on his nerves. He could not walk, he had to use wheel chair. He could not press a knife onto the bread, as the nerves in his hands were too weak to respond. He was carried from wheel chair onto bed and from bed to wheel chair. He was dependent on others for his minimum chores. Yet he ave interviews, talked and encouraged people to live their life to the fullest potential.
He could smell death and wanted people to study death through him. No one had done that before and this encourage people to understand there is one constant in life - that is death and no one can avoid it. instead of worrying about death, start thinking what can be done for others so that the community gets benefited. Instead of changing others, start changing yourself, start adjusting yourself to the environment and then the society will adjust to you. This is a lesson that no one can forget and will be greatest lessons from life. These lessons are from life for better living in our life.
Please think about it.
