We (the taxpayers) spent billions of dollars to bail out General Motors (after years of mismanagement) and now GM announces that they plan to outsource American jobs to China.

According to the linked article, "the number of cars that GM sells in the United States and builds in Mexico, China and South Korea will roughly double" as "the proportion of GM cars sold domestically and manufactured in those low-wage countries will rise from 15 percent to 23 percent over the next five years".

Something is fundamentally wrong with this scenario.
