Let's see how this plays here in liberal land...

I am a heterosexual male and was raised by parents that obviously were heterosexual. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would feel that homosexuality should be acceptable in any society. First and foremost, homosexuality is an abomination. God created man and gave him a woman. The reason God created us this way is so that we can procreate. The notion that same sex couples should be afforded the same benefits as traditional couples are afforded upon marriage is ridiculous. The reason I feel this way, and refuse to be swayed on my position, is elementary. When God created Adam and gave him Eve, he commanded them to be fruitful and multiply. If it were intended for man to be with man, then God would have given Steve to Adam, instead of Eve, and they would still be living as the only two people on earth. Let me put it another way. If you took all of the gay men and put the on an isolated island and put all of the gay women on a different isolated island, according to their ages, in a matter of years the population of both of those islands would be zero. If not for heterosexual procreators, people claiming to be homosexual wouldn’t even be here. The sexual acts that homosexuals engage in are perverse and unnatural and, thank God, still illegal in the state I live in. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of the moral decay and sexual perversion that was taking place there. It would totally be against the will of God if the United States Government, and it wouldn't shock me at all if it did, fully recognized same sex marriage and rules that same sex couples should reap the same benefits as traditional couple capable procreation. This entire subject is another example of how much of the world has turned from God. The price to be paid for turning from God is the ultimate price. Destruction.

You are putting words in my mouth...

The child is totally innocent in the matter. The gay parents are breaking the bloodline. They can call the innicent one their bloodline, but it really isn't. Half of the child's genetic make-up would belong to someone that he possibly may never know or may not have any influence in their life other than genetically.

That is another reason....

mans rule on earth is about to expire. Yes he would be the father of the chil, but his mate would not have cobcieved his seed and they would not be able to have a blood line. That type of pro-creation is an abomination as well. It is beacuse society members such as yourself have grown tolerant to the unrented sin of man. And the sanctity of pro-creation between husband and wife is all that is referred to in the Bible.

You are absolutely right..

and man's 6,000 year rule is about to end. No one knows the day or the hour but God. Psalms 90:4—For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. 2 Peter 3:8—But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YHWH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Rev 20:6—Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of the Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. But when he does send the King of King and Lord of Lords, we will all know.

And wouldn't they be just as

And wouldn't they be just as efficient at raising that child? Surely. If not, I'm gonna have to break the news to some people I know - I'm gonna have to tell them that because they were raised by gay parents they are bad, second class citizens...

Okay, let's extend your logic

If "the only way to pro-create is a man and a woman", does that mean that gay people have their sperm and eggs confiscated? Wouldn't a gay man be able to donate sperm and have a straight woman have her eggs be fertilized in vitro? If a child is produced, wouldn't the gay man be the father of the child? DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Interesting that one of those is considered a Christian nation

The United States has about 3% of the world's proven oil reserves, yet consumes about 25% of the world's reserves. There are roughly 300 million people in the U.S. and 6000 million people in the world. The United States' military budget accounts for 46% of the entire world's military budget. Yet, there are many who would consider the United States a "Christian" nation and say that the U.S. is doing most everything right. Whatever the United States once was, it can no longer be. There are far too many people of non-Christian beliefs to demand that those people go to the back of the bus and let the people who align themselves with the Church maintain this direction that has caused the problems we and the rest of the world have today. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Well, now you see how it played "here in liberal land"

Liberal, in this case, is a pejorative word meaning anyone who disagrees with the Church. I am not liberal and I don't believe that government has any business telling people how to live, particularly one segment of the population trying to enforce its diktats on other people. You accepted Jesus, cool. I am not begrudging you that acceptance. I applaud you for taking a stand for your beliefs. But, I am also going to take a stand for those on this planet at this time are being persecuted because they have done nothing wrong other than desire to stand in their own truth and who have the audacity to have equal rights with everyone else. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

ok, put them all on the same island then....

Unless the have sex with the opposite sex, they will all evetually die off. Unless that is they happen to perfect osmosis. The age would determine their expected life span. That is just mathematics. No pro-creation no life, surely you can figure that one out. Did your father bare you? I don't think so. Give thanks to the design of pro-creation, it is the reason you are here.

"The reason God created us

"The reason God created us this way is so that we can procreate." There's a slight fault with god's logic in that we've procreated too much even with all these gay folk going around. Current population of the world stands at around 6.7 billion; we're running out of resources. Although this could be down to developed countries living in excess....

The only way to pro-create is a...

man and a woman. If you want to put some other spin on it feel free. Pro-creation goes beyond breeding. It was settled by God for man to inhabit the eart, how could man do that if Adam and Steve were created. Give me a break. And no we didn't evolve from a single celled organism into man millions of years ago, if we had, the single celled organism would be extinct by now. But that is another subject I will be "Byte"ing shortly.
