Let There Be Write! The Best of jdubhub's Two Years on Xomba (So Far)

As of this past Monday, I have been a writer on Xomba for two years. Looking back, I remember what it was like to sign up here, sign up for Google AdSense, and make my first foray into the world of article marketing. There weren't that many people back then, at least not like it is now. Idlewild, rawnak, mamamia07, mythman, taprial, and even Publius were some of the other writers with whom I interacted on a daily basis.

I was selected into the inaugural Xomba Hall of Fame last year.

If I had to pick two words to describe my experience here, they would be community and attitude. I am a firm believer in the community part of Xomba community, as many of you know from our interactions. I am also an adherent of the Universal Law of Attraction and of maintaining a proper mindset to achieve success as writers and in life.

I still write articles and I am still learning new tricks with SEO ("search engine optimization" for the uninitiated). In between it all, I still find time to help my fellow writers and participate in Xomba's unofficial neighborhood watch to help the moderation team by flagging articles in violation of the posting policy. (You might say I've planted more flags than the British Empire. But, I digress.)

Without further ado, here is a selection of my favorite articles that I've written over the past two years. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them!

My very first Xombyte:

Advantages of Plastic Water Storage Tanks Over Galvanized Steel Tanks

My Xombyte with the most reads:

What is Coprophilia? 24,992 reads

My first Xomba testimonial:

Hello, my name is Jim and I'm a Xombaholic...

My Highest Rated article also voted by my peers as one of the best Xombytes of 2008:

How Much Money Would You Like To Make Today? 66 Points

A few articles showing support for equal rights and fair play for all:

Helping you keep safe while online:

Attitude isn't everything, it's the only thing:

Being a Writer's Writer:

How about a rant?

New law says turn signals are optional in new vehicles

Just for fun:

Thank you, kjhack!

It has been a great ride so far on Xomba and I look forward to taking my writing to the next level this year. I've gotten my feet wet with Twitter and Facebook and will focus this year on article marketing to drive traffic, in addition to adding to my reading toolbox the knowledge of which articles will be fun for me to write and still attract more clicks and reads. The wonderful thing about Xomba and the Xomba community is that everything we do here is a shared experience. Thanks for your comment and kind words! CLICK HERE TO JOIN XOMBA TODAY!

I'm right behind ya!

I'm only about a year behind you... my son is 3 1/2. Congrats to him on starting preschool. I am looking forward to those days myself! And congrats on your new gig! Sounds like I'll be learning some things from you this year! Angel http://robinettedesign.com http://robinettedesign.blogspot.com

Congrats on hitting the two

Congrats on hitting the two year mark, judubhub. Your articles continue to be a major asset to the Xomba community. :)

Thank you, Angel!

I am interested in seeing where my writing and self-growth take me in the next couple of years, as well. My son is starting Montessori preschool in August and it will mark the first time he will be doing something during the day that I will not be there with him. In addition, I have signed on to be the Family & Home featured writer and write from the stay-at-home dad perspective. So, my writing will have certain direction and I will have a little more time during the day to write, especially about the emotion of realizing that my young son is starting school and my life will change after being a stay-at-home parent for him the past almost 4 1/2 years. Thanks, rawnak!

As my personal growth moves forward in my own life, I look forward to sharing the knowledge and wisdom I've gained with everyone in my articles. I look back now and reread some of those past articles and think "Wow, I've come quite a way." I know I still have a ways to go, but I also know that I won't be doing it alone. Well Done Young Man

You seem to be polite and thoughtful and another writer I will enjoyn following. This is a very useful article for that purpose. Thank you.

P Self Deluded, Predictable, Boring, Malicious NOT Controversial

Who mentioned "controversial" in relation to you before you did Publius? Nobody. This isn't the place to debate you but my title offers a brief assessment.
