Letting Kids Call Us By Our First Names Is One Indicator of the Lack of Respect for Adults in Our Country
What is this country coming to, when kids can call adults by their first names? I think it explains why kids think they're on the same level as adults, and don't really listen to much that adults have to say. This was a question answer article, responding to a parent who would like to have his child refer to adults as Mr. and Mrs./Miss, and not by their first names. I agree with him and the writer. Unfortunately, how can we get the rest of society to bend to our wishes?
