LGBT, for those uninitiated it stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals and Transgenders, may be nature's way of controlling the population.

Why am I talking about this? It is because a few days back the Delhi High court ruled that the article 377 of the constitution was infringing on the fundamental rights of Individuals. A right of choice. In India, courtesy the Britishers, the article 377 had been used blatantly to harass the people. Frankly who cares what people are doing behind closed doors, unfortunately the act was being misused for repression. So if you are holding hands with your best friend belonging to the same gender, you were deemed to be a criminal.

It's all over now, in India at least. What we have not thought about is the nature's design. Maybe homosexuality was meant to be a means of achieving an end, that of controlling the population. If people were mindlessly going to reproduce without any love or affection or preference the population would have been double of what it is right now. That may also be the reason the male of the species is not driven by the desire to reproduce but just to balance his hormonal constitution. So may be the LGBT community was meant to be doing something else, like maybe adopt abandoned children, or maybe just not to contribute to the burgeoning populace.

Natural phenomena have a way of restoring balance. I wonder what took the Judiciary in India so long to recognize it. In some countries Homosexuality is still banned or cursed. I think it is high time that everyone recognized it as an act of God and accept it rather than criminalize it.
