5. Red House- Jimi Hendrix.

You forgot "Hideaway," bro. John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers feat. Eric Clapton. There's not a blues band around that doesn't know that standard and there's a DAMN good reason for it. "Thank you for driving carefully through the villiage." That's what the sign says.

Ya need more black in yo' blues.

But if you were talking about straight blues, you'd have to include Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, etc. For blues rock, I also like Have You Ever Loved a Woman and some other bluesy tunes from Layla. And that old Duane Allman anthology (originally a two-LP set) has some great blues guitar work.
