On today's October 18th Oprah show, Oprah Winfrey's financial advisor Suze Orman give financial/credit advice to 2 well meaning families. She explains that it's more then just a money problem. Money problems lie in your emotional attachment to "keeping up with the Jones." She describes how money problems, are really self-esteem problems, and offers practical, and emotional advice to 2 families who got in over their heads in debt. Her book, Women & Money, Owning the Power To Control Your Destiny, of course, goes into this problem in more detail. Suze Orman used to be a successful stock broker, and financial analyst before she realized that most money problems were a combination of a lack of financial education, and emotional problems. She decided to become a sort of personal financial guru to the masses. Very informative!
