Living in a movie world

Living in a movie world

I wonder if anyone realizes the impact of all the movies and TV shows we watch how it’s all stored in the gray matter between our ears. I’ve noticed lately, that almost any conversation I have is sprinkled with dialogue from one or more of the thousands of TV shows or movies I’ve watched. The really bizarre part is not that I do it, but that usually the person I’m talking to knows exactly where I got the dialogue from. It’s kind of funny, yet it’s kind of sad.
I haven’t watched TV in over 2 years. I still watch movies on DVD about once or twice a week, usually the old movies from the 30’s and 40’s. I wonder what this world would have been like if TV had never been invented. I bet it would have been a nicer place, in general, considering one thing with another. Geez, there I go again……………..
