Living with Aids

Living with Aids

It has been over a decade since the US Center for desease control and Prevention released a report detailing five cases of an unusual desease found in gay men(1981).It has been over a score of years since the world has been living with AIDS.

Aids was originally thought of as a gayman's desease but now we know better. It is a devastating epidemic that has wreaked havoc on populations and people all over the world.

Millions of dollars have been invested into finding the cure for AIDS, but to no avail. Third world countries whose economic growth has been severely stunted because of the ravages of this desease.

Where did it come from?
There are many people out there with a lot theories, one of which is that it was a desease developed in a laboratory to keep a certain race controlled.

Whatever the origins were, it has now become a global problem and the only way out is for each individual to take responsibility for his or her own actions and try to put in use devices (condoms, abstainance) that can actually prevent the spread of the HIV virus from one person to another such as condoms and in some cases abstainance.

So I caution people to stop being so spontaneous when it comes on to sex and to think before acting and remember they are not just affecting there own lives but the lives of other people.

People Seem To Ignore...

...what you have mirrored as a warning. Despite so much publicity and spending by different governments AIDS is on the rise which is an alarming fact. The way people(particularly teenagers and immature young people) involve themselves in unsafe sex , group sex and what not...it appears that people simply ignore the warning signals targeted from all corners.
