Look Sexy and Fit into Your Bikini After Baby is Born

In this article we'll talk about how you can successfully get back your pre-pregnancy figure and fit into your bikini with ease. Let's get started.

Find a way to motivate yourself. You can start by imagining yourself in your bikini. Every change starts with a vision. Picture yourself looking good in that bikini. Do that by finding snapshots of yourself wearing your bikini in your before-baby days. If you don't have a picture, take a picture from a magazine and proudly paste your face on the picture of that bikini-clad babe. Put that picture on your refrigerator or someplace else where you will always see it. This serves as a constant reminder of your plan to get back your bikini-ready figure and keep your weight loss on track.

Commit to weight loss. Make a conscious effort to lose all the baby weight. Try to maintain a positive outlook. Remember that the weight is temporary. Use positive affirmations like "I will fit in my bikini", "I will look good" and "I can do this". Repeat these affirmations at least 3 times a day. Know that you can make your weight loss goals happen. Say, "I will get my bikini-ready body back...period!"

Get a piece of paper or notebook and list your specific weight loss goals. This should help you decide how much weight you need to lose to make all those goals happen. Write them down so you can effectively monitor if your weight loss progress is on track. Don't hope that your pre-pregnancy figure will just happen by itself. Make it happen! Say, "I will lose x pounds in x months and I will fit into and look good in my old bikini!"

Carefully choose your weight loss plan. A weight loss plan is extremely helpful in achieving your weight loss goals. Atkins, South Beach, Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig are just a few of the popular weight loss plans. If a formal weight loss plan doesn't seem right for you, you can create your own by simply cutting back your calorie or food intake and exercising more. Though weight loss plans are generally effective, they don't work for everyone. Choose one that will help you maintain a reasonable intake of calories and eat in a healthy way. Don't get sucked in by fad diets. Instead, choose a diet that involves lots of fruits and vegetables, less sugar, starches, fat and snacks.

Take action. The time to get your plan started is now. Start by being honest about your current weight. This will tell you how far you are from your goal. Accurately measure your neck, chest, arms, hips, waist and legs. Weigh yourself on an accurate scale. Record this information. And keep in mind that you are not a failure. You just had a baby. Go easy on yourself. The important thing is that you are making a conscious effort to get your figure back. Don't dwell on feelings of shame and disappointment. Instead, use these feelings as part of your motivation to keep your weight loss plans on track.

Exercise every day. This will help you lose weight more quickly and keep it off. Including exercise in your daily routine will ensure effective weight loss.

Praise yourself and be proud of even little accomplishments. No one loses weight overnight. Take things one day at a time to avoid getting frustrated. Weight loss is a slow process; the results take time to show. Congratulate yourself on sticking to healthy foods and exercising. But avoid overdoing yourself. Overdoing things won't get you faster results; instead, it may make you to fall off your weight loss plan. Every time you get frustrated, just pick up yourself and keep going.
