Lose 10 Pounds In 3 Days

This is the 3-Day Diet plan with a new twist. It has an important and healthy change, especially for those that can't eat grapefruit or just don't like it. Check it out please. I'd love feedback.

3-Day Diet

As stated int the article this diet is not meant as a long term fix. It is meant to "jump start" a healthy eating plan and fitness routine. It's meant to get the dieter pshyched up, by losing that first ten pounds, which is usually water weight. It's also meant to get people who only eat once or twice a day to get used to eating steady meals and snacks. If you go from this to a standard eating plan, like the pyramid plan or weight watchers, you will keep the weight off. Yes, I have tried this diet. I didn't feel hungry, because what you are eating is made to make you feel full, because you are eating five times a day. Hope this clears up any misconceptions. Hope you all will read future articles I post, they aren't all diets, lol. The article claims this diet is not suitable for the long term, so that's a red flag right there. The appeal is the claim that you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days, Then what? About all you've accomplished is shedding a bit of weight, and lowering your metabolism, making it very likely you'll just put the weight back on again. Have you tried this diet?

I'm pretty skeptical that this 'diet' would really help a person lose 10 lbs in 3 days, unless the person was very obese (in which case 10 lbs. would be a small percentage of their body weight). Losing that much weight is probably not healthy, either: most medical sources say losing more than 2 or 3 lbs a WEEK is not recommended for health reasons. I'd be curious to hear from anyone who's tried this and actually lost 10 lbs. in 3 days.

I don't think

anyone can survive that. How are you supposed to function with so little food?
