Lost Final Season Predictions

The hit television series Lost has provided viewers with many twists and surprises that leave them guessing what will happen next. However, this season's finale revealed much about what will happen in its final season.

Let's preface this article with a quick comment. "I do not work for ABC or Lost, nor do I know anyone involved with the show. I am a fan that has watched every episode and every summary episode by the directors of the hit series Lost. I will be most disheartened when this show comes to it's conclusion. It has had many surprises with little predictability, expect in the last few episodes, as long as you have a certain understanding of the show."

With all that said, let us talk about Lost, Final Season #6.

The season will begin with all Oceanic Flight passengers checking in and boarding the plane. We will see some clip of individuals looking at each other as they check in. The writers will use this to try to make the episode appear that the passengers recognize each other. Jack give a look to Kate and Sun. We have already seen these clips in previous episodes, so do not be surprised. We will be waiting for something to happen to the plane. Will the vibrations happen and they crash or will they land safely in Los Angeles.

The crash will occur. Daniel and Jack's plan to detinate the bomb so they never crash will fail. I listen to what Miles says just before Jack is about to blow the station up. "Did you ever think that was the explosion that happened?" Miles was right another time before and Daniel was wrong. The variables cannot change the past. They are actually contributing to what happened to have already made it the past. If they don't blow up the station in the past, the Island may have destroyed itself, which Jacob knew, which is why he helped to convince them that they needed to be back on the island, but in the past. It is their destiny, they just need to find their way back to the present.

My reason for why the explosion does not work is because the meaning behind Ben killing Jacob in this season's finale would be unnecessary to explain and the war that is coming would also be unnecessary.

I spoke earlier about the predictability of the show, you just need to know what to look for. Always assume that any individual around the Oceanic 6 will die as soon as it is revealed why they were on the island in the first place. It is like Star Trek, if you are not a main character and you get beamed down with Captain Kirk and Spock, you will die.

This leads me to Miles. His abilities have not yet been explained as to why he has them. So, you may have guessed it, in the first few episodes, we lean why he has his gift and he uses it to help the main characters. I think it is to help get them back to the present. As soon as he helps them, he will die.

Speaking of dead, Juliet is not dead. She is a main character. Desmond blew up the hatch once, and what happened to him, he lived and went running through the forest naked. He was right next to the bomb as well. I think we will see Juliet run through the forest naked. Well naked at least, except this is TV, so blocked naked. It is learned that the past cannot be changed, so the Dharma people that are still alive build the hatch, but put another bomb underneath, the bomb Desmond blow up.

How do they get back? Some of them know about the well, but don't know it leads to the wheel that moves the island and teleports them to the desert and can teleport them into the future. When Locke used it, he was teleported 3 years into the future. Find the wheel and get back to the main land. The wheel was also located in Ben's house, which was once Horaces, which Jack, Sayid, Richard, and Eloise went through with the bomb. They can show Eloise where to find the pendilum and how it works, then take another flight back to the island that brings them to the present day. They all still have a reason to go back to the island, more importantly, present day island.

If you think of it, when you know the future, you can control your actions. While in the past, they have all controlled their actions, unfortunately that led to Ben being part of the others, Daniel telling Charlotte to not come back, and the explosion. So Eloise has to find out from somewhere about the Pendilum, that would be from the six. They have to find out about the wheel also, and Desmond has to go back to the island of the past. We know this because Eloise told him that he still has some work to do, she just did not say that it was in the past.

Back in the present The Cloud Monster / Evil Locke / the no named man next to Jacob at the beginning of 'The Incident' episode, will help bring Widmore back to the island. This will be the beginning of the war.

Who's side will everyone be on, Ben Linus or Charles Widmore. Let's face it both are bad people. At one point in this season's finale, you feel for Ben. He believed so hard in Jacob and protecting the island, and was never rewarded by Jacob. But, for the amount of people Ben has killed, there is no way Ben is on the side of Right. Richard is on the side of the Island and the fight will begin to protect the island, and the Oceanic group will help Richard. Richard's secret of eternal youth will also be revealed when it is shown that he came to the island on the ship that was shown at the beginning of 'The Incident' episode. In a move that he protects Jacob from the no named man / cloud monster / brother of Jacob, Jacob grants Richard eternal youth and protector of the island. Yes, we find out that this is like the bible story of Adam and Eve sons, Cain and Able and Cain killing his brother Able, with the twist that the Monster could not kill Jacob, so he needed Ben.

Quick note: see the Wikipedia description of Cain and Able: Cain, a farmer, commits the first murder by killing his brother Abel, a shepherd, after God rejects Cain's sacrifice but accepts Abel's.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cain

That is the only biblical reference I will go into, because we could be here forever with examples.

The battle will wage over the island with those on the island siding with Richard, as the battle against Widmore and is army. Who's to say exactly how the good side wins, but Richard will battle the no named man / cloud monster / brother of Jacob / Evil Locke and destroy it. And you guessed it, Richard will then die. Widmore will die in the battling as well. I expect from Ben, but I could see Jack actually killing Widmore.

Finally the group will dicide to stay on the Island and live in tranquility.

Pridiction for the final season of lost

I believe the final episode will reveal that the characters all actually died on the plane and have been in purgatory this whole time, having their good weighed against their bad.
There seems to be some game being played, between good vs. evil and/or the devil vs. God. I think the smoke monster shows you all the bad you have done in your life. I'm not sure if Jacob is good or bad, he could be an angel or death, seeing as he physically had to go and touch all of the characters that ended up on the Oceanic flight.
