A few weeks ago you must have read in newspapers and watched in TV the photos of so called lost tribe which spread like anything else. However it is only half true. Now it has come to know that the tribes in the photos were not lost and and these tribes were known from 1910. The photographer, José Carlos Meirelles, recently explained, authorities have known about this particular tribe since 1910. The photographer and the agency that released the pictures wanted to make it seem like they were members of a lost tribe in order to call attention to the dangers the logging industry may have on the group.
