For The Love of Meth Part 4 (a)
posted July 8, 2009 - 3:11amSo well all know now that my bailbondsman makes good money...so I'll take it back a few years and start at the first time I used that drug I hate to have loved. My mother was terminally ill and my marriage was on the rocks. Those two events colliding
and culminating in death and divorce within a few months of each other were evidently too much for this gal. My neighbor at the time offered me a taste of heaven (NOT) with this little sniff of speed. Suddenly I wasnt a tear-filled, snot nosed, red faced and newly seperated mother of 2. I was immediately "woman", and you can bet many heard me roar. I tossed my cares to the wind, and went on a mission to live out all the daydreams I had ever had in my life. Let me tell you, this drug has the power to give you all of the confidence you never had (at a price). I sold my house, moved to a much bigger, flashier, pool/jacuzzi/dog run/half acre groomed yard type of place in the next town. I was fortunate at that time to have had a cash endowment given to me from my Dad after my Mother died. We paid for the house in cash, and to keep my father from paying gift tax on this cash purchase, established thru the escrow company (at their suggestion) that "on paper" my father would be lender, and I would be borrower. No money would ever need to change hands between dad and I. Just a tax thing. HUGE HUGE HUGE mistake. When someone tells you nothing in life is for free...you'd better believe it...
...to be continued...
