For the love of Meth Part 5
posted July 10, 2009 - 9:20amSo..nothing in life is free..Because what happens is that whoever gave you that great free thing or things can always
TAKE IT AWAY! Which is exactly what happened to me when it was discovered I was using drugs. A guy showed up at my door one morning and
served with me a "3-day pay or quit" - to a house I owned and payed for IN FULL. How does that happen? My dad is actually the one who payed for it. Then decided to pull that good old tough love. Unfortunately, addicts like me dont panic and try to get their &@^# together. We rebel, dive head on into our addiction and lose every single thing we own until we have nothing. And I mean NOTHING. Looking back its probably a good thing it happened because I had become somewhat of an icon at that house in the short time I lived there. I hosted barbeques and pool parties for a bunch of drug users like myself on a regular basis, bought my self a cordless electric mower so I could work in my backyard at 4a.m. and no-one would notice (?), put various colored lens covers on my pool lights so it looked like a pool of skittles, and various other completely idiotic "projects".
My associations became more scandalous, and I had people staying at my house sleeping overnight on my couches that I didn't even know...but thought I did because we did speed all night and had "great" conversations. Of course these "buddies" ended up robbing me blind...But hey - what better way to get rid of all the rif-raf then to lose my house?
