For the love of Meth Part 7

Ahhh, methamphetamine..crank..speed..whatever you want to call it. Once you're stuck on it, good luck with your life.So just before I'm expected to vacate my home (my DREAM home), I'm sitting in my garage and get a knock at the door. Unwittingly I open it, and two cops are there, asking for me. I'm thinking.."well, if they're asking for me, they obviously dont KNOW its me they're talking to.." They had a booking photo of me when I got a DUI a year or so before, and the photo was SOOO bad that they didn't recognize me! I tell them.."no, she isn't here, she'll be back later". They say okay, then ask me for ID. UH-OH. I tell them I'll get it, and close the door. I looked at my great dane and said "WE'RE OUTTA HERE!" Out the french doors, across my yard and up the hill we run...kicking down my back fence and up into the easement we gallop...freedom is certainly imminent! Well, at least for an hour or two. We ran and ran, until I was so exhausted that I had to lay down for a second. I closed my eyes and then a voice over me said "are you ready to go now?" Darn cops! They actually found me! They were laughing so hard in the cop car and the cop said "all over 2 days in jail for a DUI?" "Now they might give you 30 days for running from us!" He even called one of his buddies on the radio and told him "I can't wait to tell you the story of the blond and the great dane"!
to be continued.....

Where Are You?

This is no way to leave things.  Cliffhangers are fine but you've a story to tell to the end.  I doubt I'm the only one worried about you.  I'd pray for you if I knew how...

All the best.  PM me as soon as you can...

Once Upon a Time

When I lived in Hippyville in a tower overlooking a few houses where everyone was using something of other I sat watching the police raiding the houses and some of the hippies escaping over fences or hiding in the gardens - hate to admit it was better than the television but it was.

What ever happened to your Great Dane - dogs are so loyal...

Can't wait for the next episode

Common sense vs Meth

I gotta say, this is funny! : ) I'm sure you were not laughing at the time though. I was never quite so "brave" to run from the cops, but I have had my scary moments. Luckily, I have not experienced anything serious (no arrests, no DUI's, no drug charges) and although I am thankful, I do wonder how the heck I got away with so much!
