Low Cost Airlines Services to Treviso,Spain,Madrid,Barcelona
posted May 5, 2008 - 10:32pmMadrid and Barcelona are two other locations that are very popular with all low cost airlines. As with Treviso the airlines generally fly in to Reus and Girona if you are heading to Barcelona but Madrid is one of the few airlines where direct flights are possible. Spain has always been a popular destination for travelers with its culture, climate and food it makes a perfect all year round destination, but now people are finding different reasons to use the low cost airlines to get to Spain, a golfing vacation. A golfing vacation used to be the preserve of bank managers, high flying salesmen and international jet setting playboys and the generally well to do but thanks to low cost airlines it is now possible to have a golfing vacation in Spain at anytime of the year, especially when the weather is bad at home.
But now with the development of the internet travel industry and the growth of the low cost airline companies we can all sample a slight bit of the playboy lifestyle, albeit not in as much luxury as the rich playboys of this world but at least we can get to see some of the finer places on the planet. The low cost airlines generally travel to airports that are in the vicinity of popular cities and not usually direct to the city itself but for a small cost it is usually possible to get a train or coach directly from your airport into the heart of the major city. So where are the most popular destinations that the low cost airlines fly to and what is there to do when you are there?
One of the most popular destinations with frequent users of low cost airlines is Treviso in the North East of Italy. This beautiful town would be worthy of the price of a low cost flight on its own but as it is the nearest airport to the most beautiful city on the planet, Venice, it rarely gets a look in, which is a shame as Treviso is lovely. When you collect your luggage at Treviso airport, which has been newly refurbished you head out into the main concourse of the airport which is where you will find the stall that sells bus ticket to Venice. The times of the buses coincide with the flight times of low cost airlines and so you never have very much waiting around to do when you have landed.Do not be put off by people telling you that Venice is horrendously expensive, it is not and by booking online you can find some very good and reasonably priced hotels in great locations.
