Lower your child's risk of being kidnapped!

Yes, you are proud that Emily, Jenny, or Bob Joe jr. is on the swim team or star cheerleader. When you put a sticker on your car with their name, their team number, on a football, or some other symbol indicating what they do it is a high risk. Kids are vulnerable. Some crazy person now knows your child's name, sport number, what sport they are in or even what team they are in. They can follow you and when you might be away for that brief second they may be able to introduce themselves to your child saying they know them or are a friend of yours. They may do this many times to establish trust with your child and get them to feel familiar with them. I know you want to flaunt your child or make them feel good, but they would understand your intentions if you explained this theory to them. I know I will never put my child's team, school, name, or any type of information in a public display. You make the choice, but just remember it is risky!
