Stargate SG-1 Deals with Mythology

Sure, it's not exactly Greek (the last I remember they were dealing with an alien race related to the North European myths of Myrddin [Merlin] and Atlantis ... and, maybe, Beowulf's Grendel?) It's good to see that Lucy Lawless isn't 'doing a Shatner' (devolving into a shadow of her most-famous role). No, she is joining the true royalty of this day and age and giving her true beauty unto the world ... unless all her songs actually do start out "Ai-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee!" lolDisagree? Xena The Warrior Princess

I never saw it when it was a show. I encountered it early one morning as a rerun. Yes, it is pretty cheesy at times, but at least they mention Greek mythology at times...lol Mythology is so interesting, and not dealt with much on tv these days.... Angel

I always enjoyed the show

I always enjoyed the show for the action, which could get cheesy at times, and--because I am a straight, red-blooded American male--the subtle lesbian undertones. :p Even so, my favorite character was Calisto.

Xena The Warrior Princess

Gee, I dont know about the singing, but I sure enjoy the reruns of Xena, Warrior Princess.... If one they were not on at 5 am...lol Angel

Xena sings?

I had no idea. "I-ee, i-ee, i-ee, i-ee, ieeeee!"? I thought that was Yoko Ono.

Yeah, but all her songs begin: "I-ee, i-ee, i-ee, i-ee, ieeeee!"
