Mac OS X (10.6) Snow Leopard Coming Slowly

As recently as MacWorld Expo (January 2009), some experts were anticipating that Mac OS X (10.6) Snow Leopard would be released as early as the end of January.

Think again!

Now Snow Leopard's release has been put off for several months due to "technical issues." Well, that's alright. No one wants to put up with a bug-ridden not-ready-for-release operating system, so please, Apple, take your time and get it right.

Among the new features released in the latest developer build (10A286) include a new version of the QuickTime video viewing and editing application as well as a Cocoa version of the Finder. The Finder is Apple's name for their operating system interface. Cocoa is a new programming language developed by Apple specifically for Mac OS X.
