Mac OS X Leopard Review: “Time Machine” will Change the Way You Backup Your Files, Forever
I own all three main Operating Systems and use them on 3 different machines in my office since my job as a SEO consultant requires me to test solutions on all platforms.
And I have to tell you – nothing beats a Mac OS in terms of versatility and usability.
The new OS X Leopard has elevated Mac to a totally new level.
One feature I like is the TIME MACHINE which backs up all your files, in all their past versions, and brings them back up EVEN IF YOU DELETED THEM!
How’s that for some robust backup!?
I’ve just bought a 500 Gig external backup drive for $160 the other day. With prices like that I don’t have an excuse not to backup my files.
But Mac does that automatically for you with a “flying backwards in time” animation that is breathtaking.
The TIME MACHINE keeps:
Hourly backups for the last 24 hours
Daily backups for the past month, and
Weekly backups until your backup disk is full.
The Leopard jumps right over the competition, easily!

Sounds great
Yeah, I'm looking forward to using it. But I don't want to pay $100 or $129 for it, so I'll wait until I buy a new laptop and Leopard will be preloaded on it.
