Madonna Visits Mumbai's Religious Places on her Indian Tour
posted January 9, 2008 - 5:37pmMadonna, the Queen of Pop paid her visits to three religious sites in Mumbai while she is enjoying her tour in India along with her family. She earlier stayed for about a week at Udaipur in Rajasthan where she spent her New Year's eve.
Madonna, accompanied by her husband Guy Ritchie, bodyguards and Aussie author Gregory Roberts visited a the 124 year old Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue in South Mumbai, followed by a visit to the Afghan church that was built by the British in commemoration of the martyrs of the First Afghan War that took place in 1838. She then had a little peek into the popular Haji Ali shrine.
