Make $500 in one day

Make $500 in one day

Do you think it is possible to make $500 in one day by writing a blog?

What if you could consistently make $2.00 a day off of every post you put up on Xomba? Would you be motivated to write 250 posts, which would give you $500 a day?

I wonder if it is possible. In the "making money" article that was posted on Xomba, they write that it is possible for the average blog post should make between $.50 and $2.00 per day. That seems a little high for an estimate, but it would be nice though wouldn't it?

I think it may be possible to pump out the volume of posts--while maintaining good quality--that it takes to make some serious money here. I am not sure though.

I am a little skeptical that it is possible to make a lot of money blogging. But it is worth a shot!

Don't you think?

Besides, it is good writing practice--that is probably the greatest benefit we get here writing our blogs. And if we make a few bucks, that is just icing on the cake.

A lot of people publish articles on Associated Content. There is another site similar to AC where you basically sell articles you write for prices you specify.

Plus now AC is offering bonuses for page views. That is the best part--getting paid after the fact, like residuals.

The more writing you do, the more money you make. But another thing you want to think about is high value keywords.

WELL THEN

If I am mistaken, then your yearly earning potential after 2 years of writing a post a day should be in the six figures! ~write your plans in pencil and give God the eraser~ I am an artist, writer, and decorator. I love to answer home decor question, so If you have any, please drop me a note and I will post your answer in my next xombyte!

Not true.

The Top 10 Xombytes that get the most clicks get them every day and they've been up for months. That Recycling Scrap Metal article that was posted in September still makes around a buck a day. People read tons of old Xombytes. Matter a fact Google loves to push a higher search index to older content. Because that's where you make your money from... search engines.

hmmmm

If you wrote 1 article or xombite a day, and took the time to promote it, and therefore made 50 cents on every article every day, by the end of your first year, you should be making $178.00 ad day. At the end of your second year you should be making $356.00 a day. But considering that old xombites, just get old, and people stop reading them, I would not count on more that the $178.00 a day which is over 60,000 a year. not bad for what you could accomplish in about an hour a day. ~write your plans in pencil and give God the eraser~ I am an artist, writer, and decorator. absolutely

Have you read the Make Money page at the top left menu yet? All the questions you asked are answered on that page. Remember to think like the person who is searching the internet.

The Readers You Want Are ...

... Students. They are the ones who know that we writers 'can only show them the doors; the students must open them!' They understand that we writers are great sources of paupers' wisdom, but that the wealthy wisdom is withheld in the fountains of knowledge above- and below-our paupers'-tomes! is it really possible?

is it really possible? ehehehe...I'm really having a hard time understanding how it works..so, I can only earn money if my google ads are clicked right? What if I post a lot yet they aren't click? I'm so unlucky then..hehe...So far, I've posted only two Xombytes...ehe...I'll try posting more...and by the way, how do you track your earnings? log in to my google adsense account?

Good tip...

That's one way to increase your article's worth... I'll remember to do that.

Another Money Making Tip

I haven't had a chance to add it to the Make Money page, but it's a worthwhile tip that you should do whenever possible. Add at least one link to every Xombyte you write. Search engines love this. For Example let's say you write about air filters... make sure you add a link to another site about air filters. Make the link relevant.

Amen, LP!

That's one reason I'm saying that 'we're not about that' (above) and why I wrote that 'Note to Porn-Clickers': I don't want Xomba to become 'another one o` those places' ... indeed, we Xombees might write about what's topping one buzz or another; but Xombees want readers who come to read what/how/why we think about it! - Call me MythMan, MythMan J

Impressions makes for clicks

It stands to reason then, that the more page impressions you get, the more clicks you are likely to get...right? Gosh, this is all so confusing!! I still like Xomba compared to some of the other sites out there!! I gave the celebrity smut stuff a whirl, to see if I could match "D", and I must admit that it paid better. But I would sure hate for Xomba to become known for that stuff. I like coming here because the stories written here are more substantive than most other places. Like Darrell said, a lot of the stuff you read on Digg or Reddit is just stories that were 'stolen' from another site...not original stuff. You can read smut all over the web, and I don't mind writing about it now and then, but I do it more to draw people to Xomba than I do for the money. I do believe you can make money on Xomba, just like you can on other blogging sites, but I hope it doesn't change in substance and quality. Lady:P
