Make $500 in one day

Make $500 in one day

Do you think it is possible to make $500 in one day by writing a blog?

What if you could consistently make $2.00 a day off of every post you put up on Xomba? Would you be motivated to write 250 posts, which would give you $500 a day?

I wonder if it is possible. In the "making money" article that was posted on Xomba, they write that it is possible for the average blog post should make between $.50 and $2.00 per day. That seems a little high for an estimate, but it would be nice though wouldn't it?

I think it may be possible to pump out the volume of posts--while maintaining good quality--that it takes to make some serious money here. I am not sure though.

I am a little skeptical that it is possible to make a lot of money blogging. But it is worth a shot!

Don't you think?

Besides, it is good writing practice--that is probably the greatest benefit we get here writing our blogs. And if we make a few bucks, that is just icing on the cake.

A lot of people publish articles on Associated Content. There is another site similar to AC where you basically sell articles you write for prices you specify.

Plus now AC is offering bonuses for page views. That is the best part--getting paid after the fact, like residuals.

The more writing you do, the more money you make. But another thing you want to think about is high value keywords.

Sorry!

I completely forgot how. I know they give you a choice in the set-up. Someone wrote a post - Feedburn and they will come - or something like that and I just followed the steps. I think it was PT penguin but don't hold me to that. Sorry! Ask the Admin they might know.

well, here's my feedburner link....

I just signed up for it...and I wanted to see how it looks... Get Paid For Your Two Cents - Mylot.com  Subscribe in a reader I'm wondering--how do I get that nice looking silver rectangle with the scrolling article titles...I just have the boring orange feedburner tab. help...

The Admins

The Admins sections, Mod News and Admin News, explain all the links except for maybe Feedburner and Stumbleupon. Very early in my time here Stumble work very well for hits but not much clicks. Feedburner is what you see in my signature that link some of my works. I use it to link my work when you read my comments. Its easier than having to look me up and has that instant gratification/impulse buy type thing to it. Digg has worked best for me lately do to their high user rate and the celbrity section. digg is limited and you almost have to write for that site specific. But it really only lasts for about a day. Long term you need a post that is high in a search engine. For awhile if you searched Tara Conner in google mine was the first one that came up. So you have to hit the right story at the right time with the right title, right tags, right links and good writing. Not impossible but hard.

Stumbleupon

Chris, Refer to http://www.xomba.com/stumbleupon_com_whats_this_all_about and use the help tab at the top for info about technorati.

what other links do you use to get readers to your posts?

How does stumble work? I assume you just put in your link at their site and hope readers "stumble" upon it. What about technorati? What are you pulling in a day here at xomba?

A stranger to me...

Just for the record none of our staff personally knows Erikadarrell nor do we provide him with elite help. He wasn't really part of our case study either. He stumbled on his own formula by himself. I'm always here to help each of you when it comes to Xomba. Xomba's staff will be happy to critique any Xombyte on ways to improve your earnings. Just let us know.

I think...

you may have just answered the question I sent you....but what about the links?...that is one that needs some explanation for me. Michele http://www.xomba.com/user/micheleg4153

Mathmatically possible...

Mathmatically it is possible. If you were a robot and could pump out that much in a day or over the course of a year(s) then yes you could eventually make $500 in one day. Then again if ErikDarrell's Katie Rees Xombyte wouldn't have crashed our server during Christmas by drawing so much traffic I think he would have made a pretty penny that weekend. (We're making sure traffic never causes us to go down again) He did make $88 in one day with the Tara Conner Xombyte. Go ahead and ask him. I don't think this is normal by any means. To be honest I didn't think it was possible. Now he earns roughly around 4-5 bucks a day on average. Not bad for some celebrity gossip. The Make Money article was written based on case study that we did over the last 6 months. It is the best blue print that we can currently offer you to help you earn a little extra cash. If you spend 45 minutes to an hour writing a Xombyte that makes 15 bucks at the end of the month would you be happy? I'm assuming everyone enjoys writing regardless of the money. I'm assuming no one is under the delusion that you will find a get rich quick scheme and get to retire at 35. However Chris is right about practice. You won't make 50 cents a day until you practice, practice, practice. We're not going to be like other sites and keep and sell secrets nor am I going to tell you that you can earn $1,000 a month by writing for Xomba until someone does it. We are looking into how much a user can earn when they write using affliate links like the ones found on clickbank.com. You would keep 100% of the profit by applying that system to Xomba. We're in the process of doing some case study on it right now. As soon as we have some results I'll let you guys know.

True

I am here to tell you that earning between .50 and $2 a post a day is very possible. I made $82 in one day last month and $200 for the entire month. The more you put out the more you will get if your writing the right stuff. And there-in lies the question "what is the right stuff?" for me it has been celebrity stuff. But just about anything other than fiction. You have think what people are looking to read about. We also have to take advantage of all the links. I use them all including Stumble. The more link the better your chance of get readers. The right tags and titles help too. So far this month I have $20. Not bad!
