Internet Shorts are becoming a very popular phenomenon. Some of these series’ are becoming very well known to the internet community. My personal favorites are “The Angry Video Game Nerd” and “The Nostalgia Critic”. These people are already making money all on their own.

Some of you may be thinking, “So what? How is this information useful to me?” Well, there’s an opportunity here for people like “The Nostalgia Critic” and “The Angry Video Game Nerd” to bring in some big time cash if they’re willing to make the effort and contact a big movie producer such as FOX or PIXAR.

So here’s my idea. If your one of these people who makes small videos and you feel that you are popular with the internet community, why not expand? Contact a film producer with your material and suggest that they buy and play your small videos either with the previews, at the end of the credits as a special add-on, or in a CD that they receive with their tickets or copy of the movie. It will add more incentive for people to go see, buy, or rent a movie.

How you ask? Well, it’s simple. Some people may be on the fence about going to see the movie. If these people are fans of these internet shorts, then it may just be what they need to get them to see the film! People may think, “I might go and see that movie, it seems good, but I’m not sure if I want to go, I may do something else”. But with these shorts, they may think, “I’m a big fan on ‘insert internet short series here’! And I can only see it with this movie! Seems like a good deal to me! I get to see a new movie and never before seen content of ‘insert internet short series here’! I’m definitely going now.” So, with that extra incentive, more people will spend their hard earned cash to see a movie!This way, everyone makes more money!
