Making Money On Xomba

Making Money On Xomba

I'm just wondering why we aren't all trying to help each other out in this money making business. Clicking like crazy on other people's ads and such. You rub my back and I rub yours. Is that illegal or something???

Excellent Point

Feel free to click on ads that are not on your pages as long as you really want to view the ad. There is nothing illegal about that! However, do not click on ads found on your pages. Thanks for clearing that up Angel.

Are All Clicks Illegal

Of course we can not click on ads on our own bytes and blurbs. And clicking just to be clicking is abuse and is wrong. However, I dont see why I should not click on an ad on this site as long as it is not on one of my pages when I see one that I am interested in learning more about. There are frequently some very interesting ads being served on these pages and I dont think that Adsense intends that we never again click on a Google ad once we sign up as a publisher and receive publisher code. I always look at the ads when I read posts on this site and others, and click on one if it interests me. I do not just randomly click. I do however, click more often on sites that I belong to in one way or another as I know it helps support those sites. For example, I love to cook and write recipes and I will sometimes wait until I see an ad I like on a site that I favor and click on it on that site, rather than on the site I may have seen it on first because I would rather support the site to which I have a connection. I saw the lost garlic bread ad somewhere else, but clicked on it here when it appeared above a recipe I was reading for Garlic Shrimp. I have emailed the site about arranging a wholesale account to order their product in case lots. That is not illegal and I do not believe that either the site or Google will question the click. When I became a publisher, I did not stop being a consumer. Sometimes I sign up for things or purchase things, sometimes not, just as I would if I clicked that ad on someone else's site. In my opinion, clicking on ads is an area in which we need to use judgment and click on the ads that interest us and that we would click on if we were on another site, excepting of course, those ads served on our own posts. Highly Illegal

First and foremost Google tracks all clicks and their Ip addresses. They will ban you immediately and seize whatever money you have in your account. This includes clicking on your own ads. Second, it is virtually stealing. Small websites like this one pay for advertising on Google adwords and if someone is just clicking and clicking then the advertiser is being charged for every click. I assure you if you write good content then you won't need to cheat.
