Making Money On Xomba

Making Money On Xomba

I find that its been a tough last few days to make money on Xomba. So it has made me wonder if thats the case only with me or if its a general issue.

Could the reason be, there are more people posting blogs on Xomba? Of course it will be helpful for Xombaites in the long run. More postings->Quality Postings->More traffic to Xomba.
But if thats not the case? If its a case of more people writing for all sites...ie, internet users have become smarter and those who just surfed the net for fun, want a piece of action/money (like me)...and everyone's posting and there are fewer buyers...with economy as it is, that would make some sense, wouldn't it? If people can earn thousands of dollars online when jobs data looks scary, there will be more online bloggers just to make money..like in the real world when there are only sellers and few buyers...and like in the real world when that happens, there are hefty discounts!

So have I discovered why I am not making good money lately? Well I think its a combination of all the above factors (15%) but more to do with my laziness (85% reason), when I am only posting what everyone else is posting!!!

So you see its not easy making money...period. Online or offline.

But seriously, to make serious money on xomba you need to click and register here!

thnks taprial

have already read rawnak's very well written article, which was obiously in response to mine.

Here is some more input

Read this article Xomba user Rawnak has written, which might answer some doubts about why things may not be moving and the do's and dont's are also covered. I liked the article. here's the link http://www.xomba.com/not_making_money_on_xomba_read_this

good resolution

jdubhub...u know the i have noticed is that the quality of articles/comments i am getting even in a relatively small site like xomba is better than those in my newspaper...keep it up. Olympics does possess a challenge and needs research as well as a tremendous opportunity for us.

terrific to

get such useful comments on this...just shows how even a few words and random thoughts (if put together originally) can elicit response! and thanks for all the tips...btw, my blurbs ARE filled with rudolph the red nose, santa, christmas cards and christmas cakes...and they are getting some reads and money...u really mean u will get ANOTHER ebook on making money online...arent there enough online...please dont take this comment too seriously (never know with any admin!!!) and jdubhub and angel thanks for your responses too...and u must have been lazy like me angel ...only chasing trends!

learning as i go

i just wanted to comment that watching angelskates and jdubhub is educational for me. i'm still new hear and watching the direction you two take is very helpful.

Looking forward to the workshop

A few weeks ago, I went crazy on Google.com and downloaded a mess of programs, including Skype. I even downloaded their Star Office program (140MB), which, unfortunately, caused me to exceed my download threshold and lose my connection for about a day. The irony is that I don't use it--I am happy with Open Office. Whatever program you use for the workshop, I'll be ready. Click here if you have something to say and want to get paid to say it!

new help files

There are a bunch of supposed blogs on how to make money on Xomba. None of these have been written by us. We're going to put together an Ebook on how to use Xomba. Not to mention the workshop. Olympics should be HUGE!

Keeping the Long View is very important

I don't mind sharing part of my strategy for 2008 because I believe that helping others helps me. I will have an 8 1/2" x 11" appointment calendar that I will use to plan articles for the whole year, based on holidays, special events, etc. I am researching different holidays for other cultures, too. The Summer Games in Beijing are going to be big and I will have dozens of articles posted before winter even thaws. Later in 2008, the Presidential election will take place, which means that the party conventions will take place in late summer. Lots to research on many different topics. If someone is serious about writing, there is no excuse for slapping something together that is poorly researched and poorly written while a major event is happening. Income Variance

My income is also down right now. I find that for the last month or so, most of my page views are from a younger audience on celebrity gossip type posts which have a lower click through rate and pay less per click. So even though I get lots of views and clicks, I make less money. You may be right about more people writing on the internet. It seems that when we become writers, we also become blind to the ads running on the pages. I know I have to remind myself every so often to LOOK at the ads. If we don't look, we will not see the occasional ad we want to know more about. I don't tend to ignore the ads on sites where I don't write. On those sites I click on ads and buy things. I act like a consumer. Think about it. When is the last time you even looked at the ads on Xomba or other sites where you write? Happy Holidays, Angel

last year

Xomba was still pretty much unknown. We were down almost all of Xmas. It was horrible. Lots have changed since then. I'm interested to see what the user number is on Xmas morning.
