Making My Journal Public Domain-Not For the Faint at Heart!!!

So I got on Xomba originally with the intent to post articles on event planning. Don't get me wrong-I'm still doing that, but I am also feeling the need to do more. I've been through a lot (who hasn't?), and the general concensus from pretty much everyone I've ever talked to about what I should do, is to put it down on paper and I would feel better. Therapy is expensive, and since I'm a single, unemployed mother of three children, I can't exactly afford it right now. So, I'm putting the two ideas together (writing it down and going to therapy). Here I am! What better way to get it out and get some therapy than share it with the world? Besides, if anyone else is nosy like me, it's fun to read about someone else's issues and give them your sound advice, even if you don't always practice what you preach. Here goes:
I am 32 years old. I have 3 children: an 8 yr-old boy, a 2 yr-old boy, and a 10 month-old girl. I am going through my second divorce, and just moved in with my sister and her family. I got laid off from an amazing and well-paying job in November and have been collecting unemployment ever since. I'm not proud of that, but it's hard to get another job when there aren't many jobs in the first place. AND, my soon-to-be ex-husband won't help pay for daycare. So, there I was, broke, living in a crappy little trailer, so far behind on my bills I was worried what I was going to do when the propane ran out.
But, that's getting ahead of myself. There's a lot more previous that got me to that point. I'm going to stop here for now, because I need to think about how I'm going to present the rest of my life to you. I can't wait to hear what you all think, and feel I should do. I feel better already!

Good link. It's pretty easy to avoid getting PSAs once you know the few phrases you need to avoid.

Thanks for your concern

Well,Respected mamamia07, thanks, but I do not know much about AAT2 meant PSAs!!! (They pop up at odd places!-I can understand it). My you kindly elaborate in a separate article or even in this comment place (helping all!), you see I do not know Jim (jdubhub) and the list of certain terms/ words sometime back that are likely to generate PSAs. Thanks for your concern!

PSAs

Dr. Singh, I think AAT2 meant PSAs. They pop up at odd places. I think Jim (jdubhub) gave a list of certain terms/ words sometime back that are likely to generate PSAs My Xomba Page

Thx for sharing your story.

Well, I agree!

You see even with hundreds of page impressions and well written articles, one may not earn with AdSense not only at the Xomba, but at many other places on the Internet. It is lack of compassion and thus concern for the writers, who spend time, money, energy, and so many other investment without getting anything in return. I wonder about and at it. Thanks!

When will you post the next installment? + Why no ads here?

sending good vibes and wishing you a "and she lived happily ever after". +1 BUT - why aren't there any google ads showing on this? I've noticed that with a few articles - a couple of my own included. I did comclude it was recipes and poems but this and others don't follow that... It's harsh that this well written, honest article won't generate earnings...

I think Xomba is a good forum for you to journal about what's going on in your life. I agree that writing and communicating can be very helpful when you're going through tough times. It's better than keeping everything inside! Thanks for sharing.
