I always wanted to try my hand at making my own yogurt.  Yogurt is expensive to purchase and with 4 kids, we go through a lot of it.  The problem I ran across was that all the recipes I found for yogurt required special starter, yogurt makers and other expensive and hard to find components.  Then I came across a website that had a simple solution.  By using a crock-pot and a small amount of store bought yogurt as starter, I could have fresh, homemade yogurt in a few hours.  It is a delicious and inexpensive alternative to the hundreds of yogurt containers I used to buy.
