Man loses everything in Craigslist hoax

Just because you see it on the internet, do not believe it always to be true. Just ask the poor Oregon man who lost most of his things when a Craigslist ad said everything in his house was free. He left his house for a short time and when he got back people were looting his home. He has gathered police to help him recover his items, but who knows what he will get back. This is just another case of people believing anything that they read.

Wow

This is outrangous, I believe that the people gutting the house that was told that it was a hoax and still was rummaging around should be prosecuted. http://www.ehow.com/members/amylaine.html

I agree

I agree with you. People are too willing to believe anything that they read online.

This is a sad indictment of the gullibility of some people

I feel badly for the guy--I really do. The idiot who placed the ad deserves some of the blame, but a lot of the blame belongs to the people who took stuff without talking to the guy first. If the guy doesn't get all his stuff back, each of those thieves should have to let him go to their house and help himself to one or two of anything he wants. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
