Talk about a battle of two giants, in a highly anticipated matchup Liverpool hosts Manchester United today. I think Liverpool will win this game 2-1, but that does not neccessarily mean they are the better team throughtout the football season. Liverpool usually starts the season of strong but they start to decline around the mid-season mark, they basiclly have trouble winning the "big game at the right moment"

I strongly belive they will again fail to contest for the title this season. Meanwhile Man United’s last outing was a 2-1 defeat by Zenit St Petersburg in the European Super Cup on 29th August. They’ve played only two Premier League games to date, a 1-1 home draw against Newcastle United and a 1-0 win against Portsmouth. They’ve won 10, tied three and lost one of their last 14 Premier League games.
