Maria Sharapova Crotch Shot is "Exhibit B" in Court Case vs. Japanese Adman

The court case against a Japanese advertising executive keeps getting stranger. First the news came out that Toyo Shigeta, CEO of Dentsu Holdings, had forced the company's creative director Steve Biegel to go along to a brothel in Prague, Czech Republic, and urged the married exec to, um, have intimate relations with a call girl.

Now Biegel has claimed in court that Shigeta secretly took crotch shots of tennis star Maria Sharapova when she was posing for a Canon camera ad campaign.

In his lawsuit against Toyo Shigeta, Biegel claims that he was fired because he complained against the CEO's preoccupation with taking photos of women's private parts. He said the married Shigeta also took candid photos of women, such as snapping barely dressed women on a Brazil beach when they bent over (which Biegel said almost got Shigeta attacked by one of the women's male companion).

Of course, racy shots of Maria Sharapova and other celebrities are nothing new. Some photographers seem to make their living selling nothing but celebrity 'wardrobe malfunctions.' Of course, some celebrities only encourage these type of photos by going commando in public, where they know photographers will document their every move.

And what of the photographically inclined Japanese ad executive? Spokespeople for Dentsu deny the charges and are thinking of suing Biegel for libel.

And that crotch shot of Sharapova? It's Exhibit B in the lawsuit.

Not at all

It's not arrogance at all. Please re-read my comment. My point is that when joining any Web site or online community, it is wise to get the tone and feel of the site before jumping in and making assumptions about what is and isn't correct. If there is a certain amount of content on this site that you feel violates the rules, it is likely that the Xomba staff is aware of it, and has decided it is acceptable. People who have been on Xomba for a while have experience in posting content here, and seen many changes in the site and its rules, partly in response to issues about acceptability of content, etc. And any rules in any organization are subject to interpretation by the management that has created those rules. You may interpret the rules one way, but that doesn't mean Xomba interprets them that way. My main point is that you might want to take that into consideration before jumping in and accusing other of breaking the rules.

I do Agree

that it is for the admin to decide and guide us the writers here. But the other part of your statement is arrogance. There are no two class of members here."the new" and "THE OLD" . I read the rules and still reading and today admin has again clarified what a xombyte is . I have only expressed my opinions here in this esteemed site and do hope that you elderly members of this site would appreciate opinions and information sharing , for that is the very purpose of social blogging as I understand.

It's up to Xomba Admin,

not any particular Xombie, to decide what "violates the rules." Your interpretation of the rules may that match that of the people who run Xomba. You might want to make sure you read and understand all the rules before you say that others are breaking them. Better yet, you might want to get a feel for Xomba before you make such comments. Many people here have been on Xomba for more than a year and know what things are OK to post and which aren't, and it seems a bit odd for someone who's been a member of the site for two weeks to be leaving comments on other people's work telling them that they're violating rules. I'm sure Xomba Administration would be happy to answer any questions you have on what is and is not permissible on the site. That might be more fruitful than leaving a number of comments on people's work based on what you *think* violates the rules.

That arugument is stretching too far

It seems the caption indeed violates the rules. As regards Britney etc..,One mistake cannot justify another .

Maybe Sergey doesn't like it

There have been a full complement of ads placed around all the Britney no-panties and crotch-shot posts. Maybe Sergey Brin (the Russian-born co-founder of Google) doesn't like people saying embarrassing things about his country's tennis heroes?

adult content

Evidentially, Google thinks that this post has adult content in it. Maybe the word "crotch" is to much for Google.

Adsense rules in tact here?

I see only public service ads ?!
