Man Marries Dog.Selvakumar marries Selvi -Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.A bizzare, weird ,wacky news had hit the headlines a few days back.Some human acts have no logical explanations.Are we really racing towards the 21st century or doing backflips to the ancient age.Is this a normal? Mr Selvakumar off course had an answer for his actions.He said he did it for 'atonement'.Man and his weird beliefs.

Mr Selvakumar, 33 years of age from the remote part of Tamil Nadu married a dog named Selvi(I wonder who named the dog so appropriately, it goes so well with the name selvakumar).He is a human being and she is a female stray dog.No it was not a mock marraige.She was chosen by his family and the marriage took place at a temple. It was a conventional hindu wedding . The groom and the bride exchanged marraige vows,garlands, mangalsutra-all with tradition,gaiety and feast. In the news clip picture selvi looked like a bride dressed up in a saree and selvakumar had a smile on his face.And the onlookers looked happy being a part of the ceremony.

Selvakumar 15 years back had stoned two dogs to death He felt he was cursed as he had killed the two dogs while they were mating.Ever since this crime he had been suffering from paralysis of limbs and loss of hearing.The guilt was too much for him to bear. His astrologer had a remedial solution for Selvakumar's plight. He advised Selvakumar to marry a female dog to make amends, and redeem himself .
