Maura Tierney's Possible Replacement On Parenthood To Be Helen Hunt

Maura Tierny has given up her role on Parenthood to focus on her breast cancer treatments. The role of Sarah, has been offered to Helen Hunt, best known for her Emmy Award winning role as Jamie Buchman on the comedy series Mad About You. 

Word is Helen Hunt is considering the Parenthood offer.  Helen would be playing a single mother trying to get her life back on track.  The TV series is based on  the 1989 movie of the same name.
