When writing articles on Xomba you should always ask yourself "how will people find what I write"? I'm guessing you do want people to read what you write and you do want to maximize your adsense earnings. These things goes hand in hand, even if earnings are not that important to you, I'm guessing you want people out there to actually read what you write and not just the Xombies. Believe me, you can actually write an entire article about let's say... christmas decorations without ever mentioning the keywords "Christmas decorations", you mention all the other stuff like angels and snowmen and so on but never the words "christmas decorations",this is no good because the googlebot will not have a clue as to what your article is about, the googlebot is dumb,he needs to be spoonfed information! He'll think your article is about snowmen and angels.
Another important factor is to consider what people actually search for, what term do you think people that want to read about christmas decorations search for? Snowmen and angels? Maybe, but probably not, how about Christmas decorations?

I'm going to list a few tools that will make it easier for you to tell the search engines what your article is about, however you should not get obsessed about writing for the googlebot and list to many keywords in to little space making your writings hard for people to read, first and foremost you should write for people, but always consider important keywords in the back of your mind.

You should decide on a few keywords or keyword phrases before you start writing and include them in the title, the first and last sentence of your article and in the tags. (Make sure you do this in a smart and integrated way so you don't compromise the readability of your article). This way the googlebot will have no doubt as to what your article is about. However don't include too many keywords in too little space as the googlebot will index your article as spam if you do. Instead try different variations of keywords and keyword phrases that are being searched for, also put in common synonyms instead of the original keywords if the density gets too high.
