McCain and Palin's Top 20 Lies, Myths and Flip-Flops
McCain and Palin's Top 20 Lies, Myths and Flip-Flops
We expect politicians to lie--it's almost part of the job description. But, John McCain and Sarah Palin, during the 2008 Presidential Campaign, are taking those expectations to a new low. They've long since reached bottom and were last seen driving backhoes and steam shovels to dig that hole deeper.
Unlike recent Republican supporter claims that McCain is being truthful and factual and the Obama camp is made up of lying liars, the linked article actually contains examples and facts. You know, proof.
The truth will set you free.

You're Perpetuating MisUse of the Word 'Myth'
My comment there:
See, every story you hear is a myth until you accept it as "real."
Maybe it really is real, maybe it's not (like a lot of the myths Palin and McCain force us to accept, as well as Obama's and Biden's); but a 'myth' ceases to be a 'myth' the instant you find out whether it's true!

That's the beauty of citing sources where something happened
The sources that I've been using for many of my debunking stories will link to the actual article or video where something was said before debunking it. That way, there can be no question that was was allegedly said was indeed said, but that the debunking is appropriate and accurate.
Unlike the claims made by the McPalin ticket, which do qualify as myths because they are untested and unproven, disputing them with facts and correcting the record is comparatively easy.
