McCain gets the "nod" from Bush, that it is "Okay" to be the Republican Presidential Nominee this Fall.
In this, it seems like Bush is agreeing with the very people in his party who, by vote, have dismissed everyone but McCain. Clearly, Ron Paul is an alternative last best hope but has little chance unless McCain fully embraces George Bush. (This means McCain, fully clothed, getting into bed with George Bush, in plain sight of McCain's wife and family, and the rest of America, and "embracing" him at least.) That image alone could drive much of his support away, but it is really now too late for the GOP to do anything about it. Delegates voted in the primaries and caucuses, count.
When it comes to the election, McCain probably can actually take a lead if Bush stays clearly away. The price of Bush "keeping away" is a promise to consider inclusion in a possible McCain Administration of Bush family members and friends. If the two republican men get too close, you will know what has happened.
This Bush Prize carries a near-Mafia "kiss." If McCain can appoint one of the Bush boys to an important post, such as Marvin Bush to be in charge of National "Security" or some such posting, a stronger family participation in the future of the Republicans can be assured.
Many think the nearly hidden from public view, Marvin Bush, would be excellent in a quiet role. Marvin Bush was reportedly in charge of the Twin Towers security and closed the buildings to all but a selected crew, apparently, in some versions of the story, so that high explosive charges to bring down the WTC's towers could be placed. This remarkable performance surely qualifies him for a quiet but influential security post at the highest level. The Marvin Bush contract with the WTC ended at midnight September 10, 2001, it has been reported.

Also recommended today with the Bush-McCain "kiss" was David Satterfield, a good Bush friend who has been involved with current guidance in the Iraq region. David Satterfield is not much of a security fellow, but has been called a "peacemaker," reminiscent of the old west's favorite personal weaponry and supports further wars around the world to secure "peace," as long as oil is involved.

Today, on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" Satterfield disagreed with callers who identified him as one who should be charged with heinous crimes in Iraq in his "advisory" role and suggested he face the ultimate penalty for his involvement. In a humorous retort, Satterfield responded that he thinks "not". Satterfield did insist that the Blackwater security segments of returning mercenary personnel were not really mercenary, but were decommissioned contractors, and skipped the question asking about who was in charge of them in the US.
The question's further implication was that some government entity was in charge of them as they performed training efforts in New Orleans, using weapons on everything from supposedly "armed" looters with police uniforms, to people's abandoned pets as a part of Iraq pre-deployment operations. Satterfield ignored that question. Congress probably could later subpoena records to find out which government entity was involved. (Unless Chaney is able to keep a national security secret label on it.)
Satterfield has shown "promise" in helping resolve problems. If he can recognize that there needs to be an end to the oil regime, sooner the better, and diplomattically offer Iran help with its nuclear for power initiative, Iran Beyond Petroleum. (The French BP office would also have a place for David Satterfield -- away from oil.)
A concern for McCain and Americans would be a draft of Jeb Bush onto the Vice Presidential Republican ticket. Such an action would pretty well seal McCain's fate if elected -- and even if not, possibly position Jeb Bush for the Presidency for the next cycle. The real problems would still be un-addressed. If a McCain-Bush ticket could run, It might defeat the Democrats. But it would really imposed limits on the ability of McCain to survive the term. It would not be about controlling the election process as was done in the Ohio and Florida events -- it would be about keeping alive through the term. That heartbeat between them becomes significant.
McCain knows the details of how the elections were rigged in Florida and in Ohio -- and surely would factor those in to any suggestion Bush would make, including a "Draft Jeb For VP" call.
Advice to McCain: Don't kiss him back.
I hope you enjoyed this humor posting. Keep your eyes open. Watch who gets in bed with you.
