One of the hot issues right now is the reported relationship between Boston Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens and country star Mindy McCready. This was reported by Daily News and an article can be found on Associated Press.

McCready did not refute anything but said that she had known Roger Clemens for a long time. She did not however divulge in detail the nature of their relationship.
Lawyer Rusty Hardin, Clemens lawyer, confirmed the friendship between the McCready and Clemens and added that there was no sex involve and nor were they engage in any kind of inappropriate or improper relationship.

According to the report on the newspaper’s Website, McCready went with Clemens to his hotel room in Fort Myers, Fla. In their first meeting there was no sex but the relationship turned intimate when the country star move to Nashville.

The story could create a problem on Clemens reputation and could affect the suit filed against personal trainer Brian McNamee. It was noted that McNamee accused the pitcher of using performance enhancing substances during his career.

On the other hand, McCready was released from jail last year after she was sentence last September for probation violation in relation to her 2004 drug arrest.
