Media can help make hockey popular
In response to 'National sport still lags behind hottest sport', (Sep 6)
Not many people follow or actually know hockey and I partly blame the Indian media for it. It gives more importance to cricket as against other sports. When our cricket team wins a series, they are lavished with praise. Why aren’t victories in hockey treated similarly?
