Medicare Health Insurance Options

Seniors have more choices than ever before when they want to find the best Medicare plans. We have to thanks our friends at NoMedical.net for helping with a couple of very simple, but informative Medicare Articles.
Compare Supplemental Medicare Health Insurance starts with the basics like Medicare Part A and Part B. These are original Medicare, and are intended to help Medicare beneficiaries pay for hospital and medical costs.
But those plans do not cover every thing, which is why many people choose a supplemental Medicare health insurance policy. These are also called Medicare GAP policies, because they cover gaps in coverage from original Medicare.
Medicare Advantage Plans are different, as they bundle up coverage from Part A and Part B, with extra coverage in one policy.
Medicare prescription plans were meant to help seniors, and other Medicare beneficiaries, cover their prescription costs.
Sometimes people buy Medicare prescription plans alone, or sometimes they come with Medicare Advantage plans.
