Megan's Law Doesn't Apply to George Feigley - Harrisburg, PA Residents Outraged
posted August 15, 2008 - 6:39pmGeorge Feigley, convicted in 1975 of statuatory rape, corrupting minors, etc, on charges that stemmed from his leadership of the Neo American Church "religious group" or cult, which advocated sex with minors, was released from prison Friday, August 15th. He may not be required to register as a sex offender because his conviction predated Megan's Law which requires those charged with sexual offenses to register so that the public is aware of where they live. Feigley has had followers try to break him out of prison and allegedly ran websites and directed sex with children over the phone while in prison. He will be living with his wife who has stood by him throughout his incarceration.
