Meryl Streep and Mama Mia

Meryl Streep and Mama Mia

Isn't Meryl Streep simply wonderful in the movie Mama Mia? And her singing! Glorious! What an amazing movie Mama Mia is. Even if you were not an Abba fan before, watch Mama Mia and you will think twice.

Everyone I meet, known to me or not, I rant and rave about Mama Mia! I'm not even a musical movie fan, but this movie is something else.

And it's not just a "girlie movie" or chick flick". Both times I saw it, the movie theatre house was packed with young and old, male and female. My boyfriend was not really mad about Abba, but now is!

Mama Mia has something for everyone. Fans of Meryl Streep will be astounded at her acting ability and her versatility.
She blew me away in the movie Bridges of Madison County, and I thought she would never top that. How wrong I was!

If you didn't catch it at the cinema, get out the dvd, although make sure you have a large group watching it with you. I am convinced nothing beats catching a movie "on the big screen", popcorn and soda at hand, and people all around you laughing at the funny scenes.

If you have seen Mama Mia, and didn't enjoy it, watch it again! Perhaps there was something you missed. If I could afford to, I could see this movie a hundred times over!
