The Patriots may be without Brady but they are not letting up the pressure. With a 21 game winning streak in the regular season dating back to 2006, the Patriots are favorites to win this game, with or without Brady. They won by huge margins against the Dolphins last regular season. Patriots are 2-0 against the Dolphins 0-2 as of now this season.
The Dolphins had a bad game against an inspired Arizona and Kurt Warner in Week 2. They are now 11 straight road games down and coming up against a formidable opponent next on the road is not going to help.
The Patriots game is simple. Strong defense, less errors, teamwork. Matt Cassel’s second start of the season should be easier than the last one against Jets. He relied on plenty of short passes to their rushing attack. The thing Cassel has got be wary of is that Miami play a more aggressive and physical game. However he has been in the system for four years now, so should be able to handle it. The Patriots defense has allowed just 10 points each in both the games. Miami should have a tough time figuring how to go past it. Chad Pennington had a miserable game in his second start for the Dolphins before being taken off. However, he should be starting against New England.
