Michele Bachman Lies Her Face Off Once Again

Ah, those desperate Republicans will say and do anything to stay in office. Michele Bachman, famous (or rather, infamous) for her belief that we need to bring back McCarthyism and question the patriotic loyalty of House Democrats, is at it again. Her Democratic opponent, El Tinklenberg, has raised $1.8 million, which is the most in the past quarter than anyone running for a House seat this year.

Apparently, people have had enough of Republican lies and Bachman is running scared by trying to tie her opponent to something that had nothing directly to do with her nor were charges ever filed. Bachman is even trying to take credit for lower gas prices.

Anything to stay in office, damn having any integrity or dignity about it.

I think you may have...

wait, no, well, I'm not sure. Take off your blinders jdud.

"AlterNet's aim is to

Their site also says this: "AlterNet's aim is to inspire action and advocacy on the environment, human rights and civil liberties, social justice, media, health care issues, and more." "Social justice"...where have I heard that before? Oh, that's right...from socialist organizations that promote "social change" through organizing communities into "direct-action" campaigns against non-socialist politicians and policies. You know - the same type of community organizing that Obama did in Chicago and instructed ACORN to do. It's old Saul Alinsky tactics. "AlterNet is a key player in the echo chamber of progressive ideas and vision." Is there another kind of "progressive" idea or vision that I'm not aware of? Because all of the "progressive" agendas I've seen have come from left-wing groups and politicians. "Amplifier for Other Progressive Media AlterNet believes that media must have a higher purpose beyond the essential goal of keeping people informed. We insist on playing an active role in helping our community funnel its energy into change." That sounds a lot like Obama's adult career, doesn't it? "Change", "social change", "change we can believe in" - it's all the same language from the same people. And it all has to do with "social justice" - which is left-wing speak for socialist policy. "By investing in AlterNet, you are joining us in providing the information and ideas that will motivate these millions to participate in social change efforts." Yep...social change. You asked me if their meaning of "social change" means socialism. My answer: Absolutely. AlterNet is also a product of the Independent Media Institute...a left-wing, non-profit organization supported by other left-wing donors, including George Soros – a well-known anti-American socialist. But this isn't just my opinion like you claim. There are also other socialist websites that identify AlterNet as a fellow comrade. Here's one: Bergonia.org This site lists an entire page of links to other socialist/Marxist/Leftist/liberation websites including SocialistWorld.net, Socialist Party USA, the New Party, Marxists.org, The Progressive, Communist Party USA, Moveon.org, the Workers Party USA, and your new favorite - AlterNet. Here's another: SocialistAction.org This site offers a list of "alternative" news sources, including Al Jazeera, Socialist Action, Cuba News, Venezuela News, Monthly Review, and your new favorite - AlterNet. I guess you are simply incapable of reading between the lines...or reading the actual lines, for that matter. Now, you can deny, tap-dance, and spin all you want, but facts are facts. "I see a website that actually cares about America and the future of this country." - Jim, from above comment That would be a reasonable position to take if you agree with their agenda. Which explains a lot about you and your efforts here on Xomba. And that was the point I was making initially. You have a history...a pattern...of regurgitating socialist/Marxist/"progressive" articles on this site. It's similar to the pattern Obama has of associating and making alliances with socialists/Marxists/"progressives" throughout his life - which explains why you (and sites like AlterNet) support him. I am simply pointing out the obvious to people who are otherwise oblivious or in utter denial/spin mode. Present company included. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

Yeah jdud, Obama is loaded with it....

"Anything to stay in office, damn having any integrity or dignity about it." It's very convenient to look the other way isn't it?

"Social Change" is the same as "Socialism"?

Here is the direct link to Alternet's "About" page: http://www.alternet.org/about/ I see a website that actually cares about America and the future of this country. I can see where "conservative" people wanting to hold onto the "old ways" would find that threatening. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

I was merely remarking on

I was merely remarking on your new source for "information" that you have used extensively over the past few weeks. It gives us perspective on the person who continues to use anti-capitalist or anti-American websites as their source for articles (and revenue). I couldn't care less about Bachman. My comment was about you. And AlterNet being a left-wing, pro-socialist website is not my opinion...it's the opinion of other socialist websites and AlterNet's "About" section - which you have either failed to read or you are simply denying the truth. Neither would surprise me. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

I haven't seen anything...

that speaks favorably of Obama to this point. Absolutely nothing.

So, you're in favor of Neo-McCarthyism?

This was a news story about how Michele Bachman, who said that Congress needs to question have hearings that questions the patriotic loyalties of House Democrats (only). As a result of her public admission, her Democratic challenger, El Tinklenberg, received $1.8 million in public campaign donations, which is the highest in this quarter for anyone running for Congress. Bachman is now running a very negative of patently inaccurate campaign ad in an attempt to regain her chances of keeping her seat. Those are the facts. You have changed this from a story about Bachman and her words to a question of Socialism? Like I said before, if someone on a website your OPINION says is socialist says 1+1=2, you would question that writer's math skills. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

No...socialist and

No...socialist and pro-socialist websites are socialist and pro-socialist. Apparently we're not on the same page here. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

I see that you have traded

I see that you have traded in your old socialist websites (WSWS, Common Dreams, Global Research) for a new socialist website. I guess it's just coincidence that most of your sources for "news and information" just happen to be anti-capitalist and pro-communist, pro-socialist, or pro-anti-American. And are we supposed to take you and these websites seriously? It's no wonder that you have "decided" to vote for Obama. Like I said...your previous facade was not very convincing. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.
