Midwife Handed Dead Baby to Mother to Cradle

Elizabeth Reader was handed her baby to cradle by a midwife pair Sandra Bickers and Peter Davies who hadn't noticed that the infant was dead.Bickers and Davies, both 45, ignored instructions from a senior doctor and later on Davies did not even realise that baby Scarlet had turned blue. It was a devastating moment for the new mother.
