My deepest darkest secrets,
the thoughts demons wish they had.

My name is Eve Misery.
The two go together like
a hundred church bells clanging
in a cacophony of collisions.
Beautiful.

My namesake
caused the fall of man.
I'm proud to be named
after a woman who caused mankind's
destruction.

People don't understand me.
They are the lit match
inside a dark, lifeless room
and I am the chilled air that
blows it out.

Would you expect less
from the family of Misery?
