A bit of mindless fun.
Yes, you have to put your brain on hold and suspend your disbelief higher than the cliff Cruise’s character dangles from but if you want a movie purely for stunts, you will probably enjoy this one. The plot may be tired and thread-bare but the movie is a nice filler when you don’t want a deep movie but one that just carries you along for a fun ride.
