Missouri Thunderstorms Cause Death and Destruction

Thunderstorms, including possible tornadoes caused extensive damage and loss of life to southern Missouri on May 8, 2009. The storm has left around 70,000 residents without power. The areas affected are southern Missouri, including Butler, Wilson and Dallas counties. A state of emergency has been declared by Governor Jay Nixon. Read more on this here.
